Eligibility to use the service

You must be 18 years of age or older to use RoleGist. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and can agree to these terms.

What RoleGist provides

RoleGist is a job-search information and pre-application eligibility decision-support tool. It may present Apply, Check first, or Skip guidance based on your user-confirmed answers and available job or employer evidence.

RoleGist is not a law firm, attorney, employer, recruiter, government agency, or visa authority. Its results are informational decision aids, not legal, immigration, hiring, or work-authorization advice or determinations. RoleGist does not guarantee a job, interview, sponsorship, visa, work authorization, legal compliance, or any employer outcome.

You are responsible for checking current job requirements and employer policies, verifying important information with official sources, and seeking qualified legal or other professional advice when appropriate.

Your account and information

You are responsible for providing information you are authorized to provide, keeping account credentials secure, and activity under your account. User-confirmed information is your own attestation; it is not independently verified merely because it appears in RoleGist.

Tell us promptly at support@rolegist.com if you believe your account has been compromised. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You may use RoleGist only for lawful personal job-search purposes. You may not:

• Impersonate another person or provide information you do not have authority to share.
• Attempt to access another user's account or private records.
• Interfere with, probe, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or circumvent the service or its access controls except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Use the service for fraud, harassment, unlawful activity, or to distribute malicious code.
• Misrepresent RoleGist guidance as a government, legal, employer, or visa determination.

External jobs and applications

Job postings and employer information come from third-party sources and may change, expire, or contain errors. Selecting Apply opens the employer's external applicant tracking system, which has its own terms and privacy practices. RoleGist does not submit applications to an employer or confirm that an external system received one.

An Apply click records intent only. Applied or Not yet is your own status confirmation and may be corrected in RoleGist. You must review and submit any employer application yourself.

Ownership

RoleGist and its original software, design, text, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party job postings, company names, trademarks, and external materials remain the property of their respective owners. These terms do not transfer ownership of RoleGist or third-party content to you.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate suspected abuse or security issues, respond to unlawful conduct, or enforce these terms. Where appropriate, you may contact support@rolegist.com about the decision. Account closure and data requests are handled under the process described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of RoleGist. We do not promise uninterrupted access, that every posting or source will remain available, or that results will always be complete or current. We may update these terms and will publish the effective date of the revised version.

Disclaimers and responsibility

RoleGist is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. We disclaim warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular employment, immigration, or legal decision. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, RoleGist's operator will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service, third-party postings, or external applicant tracking systems. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility where such a limitation is prohibited by law.
